Lesson 1

LESSON 1 In our first session, we looked at the different games that we would be workshopping with our participants. With the type of students we were going to have, we had to make sure they were appropriate for a first session situation where not everyone would know each other. They also had to be games where people didn't get "out" so that our participants wouldn't get bored. We looked at games such as: King Chair - This game, everyone sits in a circle and is numbered 1 to the highest number appropriate to how many people are in the game. The person after the highest number is called "king'. The aim of the game is to get the king out by saying your number and then passing it to another number. If you are too slow or say the wrong number then you are demoted all the way down to number one. The Bottle Game - You in 2 teams sitting opposite each other holding hands.
